Mr Em Sorany has education and experiences that could contribute to Component II of ASPIRE in capacity development for extension from three major pillars of his background degrees – agriculture, business and communications. He has experiences of about 20 years in research, extension and public relations through working with rural community, private sectors, agricultural education institutions, research institutions, Parliament of Cambodia, and some Parliaments of ASEAN and Europe. He received
1) Master Degree of Science in Development Communication with Development Management from the University of the Philippine Los Banos – the agricultural university
2) Bachelor Degree of Business Administration from the National University of Management, Cambodia
3) Certificates of specialised courses in Agribusiness Marketing and Agricultural Marketing from Gatton College, the University of Queensland, Australia, and 4) Diploma II of agriculture science, specialised in animal health and production at Prek Leap National College of Agriculture, Cambodia.
Mr. Sim Sovannarun
has education and work experiences with private sectors, rural communities, and NGOs in the field of forestry and land management, Nowadays, He is lecturing and sharing his experience in his field study at Prek Leap National College of Agriculture. He involved in ASPIRE programme in 2017 and taught the subject of Climate Change and Resilience. He received 1) Master Degree of Science in Biodiversity Conservation from Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2016, 2) Bachelor Degree in Land Management and Land Administrator from Royal University of Agriculture in 2011, 3) Bachelor Degree of Art in English from Norton University in 2012.
